Do you have a membership using Mighty Networks that you would like to integrate with Glow? This guide walks through (1) how to automatically add new members in Mighty Networks to Glow so that they get access to your exclusive podcast and (2) how to automatically remove your members from Glow when they cancel in Mighty Networks.
You'll need the following accounts:
- A Glow account with a published page
- A Zapier account with access to the Glow Premium app
- A Mighty Networks account
Step 1: Automatically add a listener to Glow when they sign up in Mighty Networks
1. Create a Zap
2. Create a trigger. Select "Mighty Networks" for Choose App and "New Member" for Choose Trigger Event.
3. Authenticate your Mighty Networks account with your Mighty Networks API key. To find your API key, follow these steps.
4. In the Choose Account step, select the type of program that your members are signing up for in Mighty Networks (Group, Course, or Network)
5. In the Customize Member step, find a user to test this Zap with.
6. Optional: If you would like to delay the enrollment email that your new members will receive from Glow, click the blue "+" icon and select "Delay". Follow the steps to customize your delay.
7. Create the next step in your Zap. Search for "Glow Premium (0.0.0)". If you cannot find Glow Premium (0.0.0), contact hello@glow.fm to get access. For Choose Action or Event select "Add Listener".
8. Authenticate your Glow account with your email and password.
9. In the Customize Listener step, populate the fields with the following information:
- For Listener Identifier, drop-down "New Member in Mighty Networks" and select "ID".
- For Email, drop-down "New Member in Mighty Networks" and select "Email".
- For Podcast, select the podcast that you've set up in Glow.
10. That's it! You can test this integration using your test user, then turn your Zap on.
Step 2: Automatically remove a listener from Glow when they cancel in Mighty Networks
1. Create a Zap
2. Create a trigger. Select "Mighty Networks" for Choose App and "Member Left" for Choose Trigger Event.
3. Authenticate your Mighty Networks account with your Mighty Networks API key. To find your API key, follow these steps.
4. In the Choose Account step, select the type of program that your members are signing up for in Mighty Networks (Group, Course, or Network)
5. In the Customize Member step, find a user to test this Zap with. To successfully run a test removing this member from Glow, they must have a Glow account.
6. Create the next step in your Zap. Search for "Glow Premium (0.0.0)". If you cannot find Glow Premium (0.0.0), contact hello@glow.fm to get access. For Choose Action or Event select "Remove Listener".
7. In the Customize Listener step, populate the fields with the following information:
- For Listener Identifier, drop-down "New Member in Mighty Networks" and select "ID".
- For Podcast, select the podcast that you've set up in Glow.
- For Email, drop-down "New Member in Mighty Networks" and select "Email".
8. That's it! You can test this integration using your test user, then turn your Zap on.
